Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Arcade Labs Inc. (“Arcade,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Arcade mobile application and related services (the “Service”). Arcade is a self-custodial crypto trading application. We designed the Service to collect as little personal information as reasonably possible.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account identifiers. When you create an account, our authentication provider collects an email address or phone number to create and secure your login and embedded wallet.
- Wallet and on-chain data. Your public wallet address and the transactions associated with it. On-chain activity is public by nature; we read it to display balances, positions, and history in the app.
- Transaction and usage data. Trades, orders, and interactions you perform in the app, along with device and diagnostic information (device type, app version, crash logs, and similar technical data) used to operate and improve the Service.
- On-ramp information. If you buy crypto with fiat currency, our third-party on-ramp provider collects the payment and identity information required to process that purchase and to meet its own legal obligations. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
We do not take custody of your funds, and we do not have access to your wallet's private keys in a form that lets us move your assets. Arcade is self-custodial.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service;
- To authenticate you and protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
- To display your balances, positions, orders, and trading history;
- To respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Service;
- To comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to serve third-party advertising.
3. Third parties we share information with
We share limited information with service providers who perform functions on our behalf. Each processes information under its own privacy policy:
- Privy — authentication and embedded wallet infrastructure (account identifiers, wallet provisioning).
- MoonPay — fiat-to-crypto on-ramp. When you use the on-ramp, MoonPay collects and processes your payment and identity information directly as an independent controller for that transaction.
- Infrastructure and analytics providers — hosting, data delivery, crash reporting, and product analytics used to operate and improve the app.
- Blockchain networks — transactions you make are broadcast to public blockchains and are permanently visible on-chain.
We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Arcade, our users, or others.
4. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter only as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. On-chain data recorded to public blockchains is permanent and outside our control; it cannot be altered or deleted by us or by you.
5. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, or to request deletion of your account and associated off-chain personal data, email us at support@arcade.xyz. We will respond consistent with applicable law. Please note that we cannot delete information held independently by third-party providers (such as identity records that MoonPay is legally required to keep) or data recorded on public blockchains.
6. Account and data deletion
You can request deletion of your Arcade account at any time by emailing support@arcade.xyz from the address associated with your account. Upon verification, we will delete or de-identify the off-chain personal information associated with your account, subject to the legal retention and on-chain limitations described above.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and you are responsible for safeguarding your own login credentials and device.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
